Performing Arts
Whether a complete beginner or a budding young musician or actor, opportunities abound for students to pursue their creative interests and passions in Music and Drama both within the curriculum and our co-curricular programme.
Music and Drama Clubs are held at lunchtime and after school. Musical tuition is available for those wanting to take up instrumental lessons in piano, strings, woodwind, brass, singing, guitar or drums with specialist teachers.
Students can come together to play in our flourishing ensemble and can showcase their work to peers, staff and family during the various concerts, performances and productions held throughout the year. These have included:
- Our annual school production of which previous shows have included The Addams Family, Matilda, Grease, Mary Poppins Jr, Singing in the Rain Jr, Arabian Nights, Hairspray Jr, We Will Rock You, The Wiz and Joseph
- Our Plays in 7 Days Competition
- Rush, our annual Dance Showcase.
