Claremont High School GCSE Results 2025

This year’s GCSE results at Claremont High School in Kenton continue the school’s tradition for top marks with grades 7 to 9 totalling 800 - 34% of all grades. Biology, Chemistry and Physics all achieved 60% at grade 7 and above. Headteacher Ms Hyde-Boughey said: ‘We are delighted with the outstanding GCSE results our students have achieved this year. Their dedication, resilience and hard work have truly paid off, reflecting the exceptional commitment of our pupils, staff and parents.’

Veera Mehta, aged 16, got ten grade 9’s – top marks in all her subjects. ‘I am in shock,’ she said, ‘but so happy! I can’t believe I achieved this and that all my hard work paid off.’ Aditya Banerjee, also 16, got nine grade 9’s. Saying he was ‘happy and grateful for his results’, Aditya revealed that the key was ‘thorough and in-depth preparation’. Kheya Shah, 16, got grade 9’s in Maths, Chemistry, English Literature and Sociology and said, ‘I did much better than I expected and I’m really glad’. And Sylvia Delargy Crawley, 16, got grade 9’s in Biology, History, English Language and Drama and said she was feeling ‘very happy’.

‘These results are a testament to the vibrant learning environment we have cultivated here at Claremont,’ adds Ms Hyde-Boughey. ‘I wish all our students the very best with the next steps in their exciting journeys.’
