Train to Teach - Chrysalis scitt
Chrysalis Multi Academy Trust is working in partnership with Teach First to provide School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) where you will gain Qualified Teacher Status and a PGCE.
Our one-year, research-informed SCITT programme offers a highly practical route into teaching, combining extensive classroom experience with expert-led training. From September to July, you’ll spend four days each week immersed in a school setting, applying your learning directly to make a real impact on pupils. One day a week is dedicated to high-quality professional training and reflection to strengthen your teaching practice. You’ll also benefit from six weeks of broader experience in alternative educational settings. The programme is carefully designed to build both your subject expertise and your understanding of effective, sustainable teaching methods that support pupil progress and your own wellbeing.

- Secondary Chemistry
- Secondary Physics
- Secondary Business Studies
- Secondary Mathematics
- Secondary English
- Secondary Geography
- Secondary Religious Education
- Secondary Computing
- Secondary Modern Foreign Languages
