Visiting Claremont High School
Student Access
Students can enter and leave via Claremont Avenue and Greenway entrances at 8:15 am and following PM registration.
On Mondays, the Claremont Avenue pedestrian gate will close at 14:30, and on Tuesdays to Fridays, the gate will close at 15:30. Students must enter or leave via the Greenway turnstiles.
Vistiors
All visitors must arrive via the Greenway Entrance and report to the security hut, where you will be either collected by your host or directed to reception to sign in.
Visitors are requested to complete the visitor form below before arriving at Claremont High School Academy. Visitor FormNote: Secure parking area is via the Claremont Avenue Entrance. However, this area is accessible to staff only during school hours, but available for those hiring our facilities in the evenings and weekends.
Getting Here – Greenway entrance

The school advocates using public transport or car sharing to protect our environment.
By Bus
Claremont High School is situated near the 183-bus stand (Stop W) that stops at the corner of Claremont Avenue from Golders Green/Pinner.
The SL10- bus stand (Stop E) is an 8-minute walking distance from the school. 
By Train
The school is a 10-minute walk from Kingsbury Station on the Jubilee Line, alternatively a 15/20-minute walk from Kenton Station.
By Car
Situated on the A4006, 20-25 minutes from the North Circular.
Note, the local roads are often busy, and there is limited on-site parking; and unless arranged in advance, you will need to use street parking further away from the school.
The School Street Zone
The restrictions only apply during school term time and do not apply on Bank Holidays. The restrictions only apply to vehicles entering the zone, and vehicles can exit the School Street Zone at any time. The zone will operate Monday to Friday, between 8:15 am – 9:15 am and 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm.
This will include the following roads:
- Cranleigh Gardens to the junction of Hillview Avenue
- Greenway
- Vine Court
- Falcon Way
The residential area around our school premises can get congested, especially from 08:15 – 08:35 and 15:00 – 15:25. You may wish to consider parking slightly further away from the school site to avoid congestion.

Please be considerate of our local neighbours and avoid blocking driveways.
All parking, whether on or off-site, is at your own risk, and Claremont High School Academy will not be liable for any theft or damage to your property.
Visitor conduct
Visitors to the school will be required to act in accordance with the school’s Code of Conduct and other relevant school policies at all times.
The school reserves the right to escort individuals from the premises who act in an aggressive or threatening manner towards staff members, pupils, governors, parents, or other visitors. Under Section 547 of the Education Act 1996, it is an offence for any person to cause a nuisance or disturbance on school premises; therefore, the police may be contacted to aid in the removal of individuals from the premises, where necessary.
In case of persistent occurrence of unacceptable behaviour on the school site, the school has the right to request a banning order from the LA for the individual in question.
